Job Description

About the role

Permanent opportunities for new graduate or experienced psychologists/clinical psychologists to join our dynamic team at CRCS and make a real difference!  Full-time and part-time options considered. 

You will be part of the Wellbeings Therapy and Assessment Services which is a collegial and supportive fee-for-service practice that provides therapy and assessment services to a range of clients, including adults, adolescents, and children.

You will work within a Multidisciplinary Team to provide therapy and assessment services to a range of clients, utilising sound clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice to inform and deliver high quality client care.  You will also enjoy supporting practitioners in other program areas of CRCS to ensure the highest quality of service provision across the organisation. 

Your qualifications, skills and experience will include:

  • A registered psychologist, clinical psychologist or clinical psychology registrar
  • Current membership of relevant professional association or eligibility for same
  • Current registration with Medicare as an approved provider (or eligible for same)
  • Demonstrated ability to provide high level psychology services to those with complex and/or varied needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform tasks and duties with a high degree of independence, including caseload management.
  • Working with Vulnerable People check.
  • ACT Driver’s Licence.

Our clients

  • Our clients are across the full age spectrum, children, adolescents, adults and older adults.
  • We provide services to NDIS, Medicare and private clients.
  • Wellbeings also provides cognitive assessment, and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity and Autism Spectrum Disorder assessment.

  • Hold or be willing to obtain a satisfactory Working with Vulnerable People registration (ACT) and/or a Working with Children Check (NSW), and have these with them at all times whilst employed by CRCS.
  • Undertake a National Criminal History Clearance by CRCS prior to commencing and every three years thereafter as a condition of employment. Employees are required to advise CRCS of any convictions that may affect their eligibility to work or perform the inherent requirements of their position.
