Job Description

About the role

As a Home Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing care and social support to our clients. Your responsibilities will range from assisting with personal care to running errands, light housekeeping, and meal preparation. By offering these services, you will empower our program participants to maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.

We welcome individuals with diverse skills, including cooking expertise, as preparing meals will be part of the job. If you already hold a Certificate III, that's a plus, but if not, don't worry—there's an opportunity for you to gain a qualification while working with us. This position can be a stepping stone to a new and rewarding career or a wonderful job that complements your studies or family commitments.

As you will be visiting clients in their homes, a car will be essential. In return, you will receive an attractive car allowance. This is more than just a job; it's a chance to bring joy and freedom to those who might otherwise feel lonely or isolated.

Please note that some lifting and bending may be required for Domestic Assistance tasks. Additionally, a valid driver's license and access to a roadworthy, registered, and comprehensively insured vehicle are essential for fulfilling work-related requirements. While experience in gardening, home maintenance, or working towards a Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) would be fantastic, it's not a mandatory requirement. Your passion and commitment are what matter most to us.
